James
BSc (Hons) Cert Arb (RFS) PTI
Director and Consulting Arborist
James is the founder of Gloaming Tree Surgery and has worked in the environmental sector for over fifteen years. In 2005 he graduated from Harper Adams University with a BSc (Hons) Countryside and Environmental Management. James is accredited by the Arboricultural Association in Professional Tree Inspection and holds the Royal Forestry Society Certificate of Arboriculture. James has several years’ experience as a Lead Climber, Consulting Arborist, and five years’ experience as a Local Authority Tree Officer. James will meet you at your initial consultation and divides his time across both the consultancy side of the business and climbed tree work operations.

James is supported by a team of fully qualified, trusted, and experienced tree surgeons. The Gloaming Tree Surgery team are highly skilled, carry a wide range of environmental qualifications and are all NPTC Tree Work Operations qualified to the highest standard.
Louisa
Director/Office Manager
Louisa is our Office Manager and if you call the office number to book in a quote it's likely you’ll speak to her. Louisa, also James’ wife, is our friendly first point of contact who can explain the quotation and booking process to you. She offers support on the admin side of the business while also bringing up the two youngest members of the family business at home.
