Louisa
Director/Office Manager
Louisa serves as the Office Manager at Gloaming Tree Surgery, playing a vital role in the smooth day-to-day operation of the business. As the first point of contact, she is responsible for answering phone calls, responding to customer queries, and ensuring that every client is well-informed and comfortable with each step of the tree surgery process. Her friendly and professional manner reflects the company’s commitment to excellent customer service. In addition to her key administrative role, Louisa is also the wife of James, the owner of Gloaming Tree Surgery. Together, they manage both the business and family life, with Louisa also raising the two youngest members of their family—future contributors to the family-run enterprise. Her dedication both in and out of the office is central to the personal, trustworthy service that defines Gloaming Tree Surgery.
James

Director and Consulting Arborist
James is the founder of Gloaming Tree Surgery and has worked in the environmental sector for over fifteen years. In 2005 he graduated from Harper Adams University with a BSc (Hons) Countryside and Environmental Management. James is accredited by the Arboricultural Association in Professional Tree Inspection and holds the Royal Forestry Society Certificate of Arboriculture. James has several years’ experience as a Lead Climber, Consulting Arborist, and five years’ experience as a Local Authority Tree Officer. James will meet you at your initial consultation and divides his time across both the consultancy side of the business and climbed tree work operations.

All operatives are NPTC Tree Work Operations certified to the highest standard, demonstrating their competence in all aspects of tree surgery.
